My name is Deon Bez, born in South Africa 44 years ago. After graduating I worked among the indigenous people groups in the Andes mountains in Bolivia, South America. Since a young boy I’ve always showed interest in sport, specially the endurance types. At age 15 I ran my first marathon and over the next 15 years I participated in events that ranged from 6-60 miles. Three years ago I was introduces to triathlons by a coach while living in Mexico. The IronMan was a must for me and I felt that mere participation will not bring total satisfaction. Having known Alison and her family I felt divinely directed to raise funds for the International Mosaic Down Syndrome Organization. Please help me help families like Allison's.
